Michael Fegerl
Michael Fegerl has over 30 years of professional and hands-on experience in Industrial Resource Efficiency. As an experienced specialist in ISO 14001, ISO 5001, and the European Union’s Eco-Management and Audit Scheme (EMAS), he has also carried out countless cleaner production assessments in leading manufacturing companies in Europe and Asia regions. He was among the team of specialists that were responsible for the design, development, training and implementation of the European flagship methodology for Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production (RECP) in the early 1990s.
Michael as shareholder and one of the board of directors, heads the Division of International Business Partnership, Innovational and Best Technology Transfer of RESP Solutions.
Ikechukwu Mbachu
Ikechukwu Mbachu obtained his M.Sc. degree in Environmental Resource and Management. Currently, He is a Doctoral candidate in Environmental and Resource Management at the chair of Environmental Planning, Brandenburg University of Technology, Germany.
He is a consummate socio-environmental scientist with strong analytical skills in climate change studies, vulnerability assessment, impact assessment, integrated water resource management, evaluation and sustainable management of natural resource.
Ike has more than decade long extensive experience in field-based scientific and strategic research in different fields. He has worked as a consultant/expert on several projects with the World Bank, UNIDO and other international organizations. He is well versed in quantitative analytical research and proficient with a variety of statistical and analytical tools such as SPSS, MATLAB, R, etc.
He is a very experienced GIS consultant with a proven track record of over seven years of invaluable experience in domestic and international consultancy and management. His expertise in GIS, includes advanced satellite image processing, land cover mapping and related accuracy assessment; time-series analysis; land use optimization and allocation model design; Environmental risk assessment; spatial decision support model design; web-based mapping application deployment, etc.
Ike possesses comprehensive knowledge and understanding of project management, technical issues and financial practices. He has adequate knowledge in several project management tools, such as the MS Projects. He has a consistent track record of successfully delivering full lifecycle projects to the highest technical standards.
Ike has very good demonstrated interpersonal skills that enable effective working relationships with multiple stakeholders such as government officials, key manufacturing stakeholders, civil society partners, and national/international funding organizations.
He has also worked as Deputy Chief of Party in a high-level mineral mining sector capacity development project in Nigeria. Ikechukwu Mbachu has also published some academic articles and presented research papers in several academic conferences worldwide.
Sandeep Pahal
Sandeep Pahal is an international circular economy and green finance expert with over 12 years of experience in policy design, implementation and evaluation. He is currently Managing Partner of “puREsource partners” after several years of cleantech and sustainability services experience with major consulting firms (such as EY and Deloitte in Paris, France).
Sandeep provides cross-functional team leadership and direction on environmental policy support to governments, industry and business on energy access, renewable energy, energy efficiency, ecodesign, industrial emissions, environmental labelling, waste management and resource efficiency.
Sandeep is a leading European Sustainability Expert having worked in more than 20 countries and having led several high-profile projects (50+) for clients such as World Bank, European Commission (various DG’s), EuropeAid, ADEME, DEFRA, UNIDO, IFC, IEA, EBRD, UNEP, UNDP, GGGI, AfDB, AFD, RECHARGE and RESCoop. He has extensive experience in a range of consultation methods and tools, including online questionnaires, stakeholder workshops and focus groups, face-to-face and telephone interviews, email contact, and the investigation of specific case studies.
Sandeep holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi and a master’s degree in Environment and Energy Management from an academic cooperation between Ecole des Mines de Nantes, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and Kungliga Tekniska högskolan (KTH) Stockholm.
Sandeep is fluent in English and has working knowledge of French.
